Shehbaz Sharif Resigns as PML-N President, Clearing Path for Nawaz Sharif's Return

Shehbaz Sharif has resigned as president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). 

 His resignation clears the path for Nawaz Sharif to be elected as party head.

 Marriyum Aurangzeb confirmed the resignation.

A central committee meeting is scheduled for May 18 to address this change.

Shehbaz expressed commitment to the party's principles in his resignation letter.

He acknowledged the challenges  including Nawaz Sharif's disqualification.

Shehbaz was grateful for the trust placed in him by Nawaz Sharif.

Shehbaz's resignation reflects his respect for the party's values and Nawaz Sharif's leadership.
