Google Maps  may soon display Plug and Charge spots, ensuring worry-free electric vehicle charging.

What is Plug and Charge? It's a technology that simplifies the charging process by eliminating the need for apps or cards.

Here's how it works:

1. You pull up to a Plug and Charge station. 2. Plug your car in. 3. The car communicates securely with the station using its built-in ISO 15118 technology. 4. The station automatically identifies your car and billing information. 5. Charging starts and payment is handled seamlessly in the background.

While Google Maps currently shows EV charging stations, the ability to filter for Plug and Charge locations is still under development. An APK teardown (analyzing app code) suggests it's in the works, but there's no confirmed launch date yet.

When will this happen?
