Boeing, NASA Scrub Starliner Crew Launch Minutes Before Liftoff

Boeing's Starliner launch was delayed just minutes before takeoff.

The spacecraft was supposed to carry astronauts Wilmore and Williams to the International Space Station.

Launch was planned for 12:25 p.m. EDT from Cape Canaveral, Florida.

The countdown stopped due to a computer issue with the Ground Launch Sequencer.

This system manages critical functions before liftoff.

Astronauts had strapped in but had to disembark after the scrub.

Wilmore, a pilot and space veteran, had prepared a pre-launch speech.

The mission aimed to test Starliner's ability to safely transport crew.

This delay disappointed mission planners and the astronauts.
